How To... Measure A Canvas Board

A Guide to Accurately Measuring Your Canvas Board.

To purchase either an inset frame or a St Ives frame, you must measure your canvas board correctly.

Lay the canvas board flat on a clean, level surface. Using a metal tape measure, measure the width from one side to the other at the widest points. Repeat the process for the height. Be sure to measure in millimetres (mm) for precision. Double check your measurement and note them down.

PRO TIP: NEVER rely on any measurements supplied on the packaging or board - ALWAYS measure the board yourself to ensure it is correct.
