It's human nature to get to a point where you feel too stressed to do anything productive. We may have every intention of getting the things done that we need to, however, when we feel stressed, it can be exceptionally difficult to achieve the tasks we have set out for ourselves when you are not in the right frame of mind.

Most of us experience some form of stress every day; some more than others. Getting yourself stuck in the same mundane routine of waking up early, getting caught again in traffic on your way to work, coming home and having to prepare a meal for your family; are just some of the things that make life extremely difficult... You can easily get pulled into a vicious cycle of stress that can be utterly overwhelming.

Don't lose hope... Did you know there is a way to manifest positivity with nothing more than a framed photograph of nature? Sounds too good to be true doesn't it - think again.

Scientific studies have been carried out for years have shown that people who are hospitalised with their beds facing the window and have a view of the trees and plants, had a much quicker recovery time than those who didn't have this view. So, what does all of this have to do with a hanging picture in your home? The reason that a view of nature is a pain reliever surely has to be a good enough reason to embrace having this type of art hanging on your wall.

Now I am sure that a large number of you have taken the time during lockdown to introduce new routines into your life that you wouldn't have normally had the opportunity to do before COVID-19. Many of us were able to go outdoors, amongst the trees and take regular walks. We all know that this is good for our health, but have you ever thought as to why?

The reason why is because it brings us closer to nature. Having the breeze flowing freely through your hair, the birds chirping in the distance, streams of water flowing down a hill or even the leaves rustling on the ground are all things that contribute to improving our overall health. Whenever you feel like the stress is too much to bear, remove yourself from your current position and take time to go for a walk, this, in turn, is an ideal way to relieve stress.

If you find yourself having a day where it is simply not possible to go for a walk, then the next best thing to do is surround yourself with images and framed art to that brings serenity into your home. Ideally, you want a photograph or image that shows a more peaceful aspect of nature as some photographs can be the opposite of that.

For example, you can get stretched canvas images that are dark in colour that show lightning strikes... this would not be appropriate to lower your stress levels. What you want is calming photographs such as a snapshot of birds flying over a large open lake during sunset or even pictures of large rolling meadows in the distance in contrast with the blue sky. These are the ones that create more of a positive vibe in your home. So, when you are looking for your next piece of framed art, keep this in mind.

What does it look like when you wake up in the morning?

Are you kind of person that when you first open your eyes, you are met with that menacing red glare of the alarm clock that glows brightly with those red digits of 06:12? All of a sudden you know that traffic jam awaits you as you make your way to work, a mountain of tasks that you need to complete and then the same again when you return home?

If that resembles your wake-up routine, then try and do something that is going to swing those positive vibes more into your favour. Try having a framed image of a bird or even a cherished family photo in nature beside your bed that can create a sense of calm without you even consciously thinking of it.

If we expand on this further, what do you see once you walk out of your bedroom? Chances are it could be a bare wall that doesn't contain any framed images that help you manage your stress levels. Try thinking about hanging an image that is going to be a powerful motivator to you.

It is a great shame that many people spend their lives working in jobs that they have zero passion for. If this is the case for you, that blank wall space that you have outside of your room is the perfect opportunity to set the tone for the rest of the day ahead.

We know that having a picture frame of nature isn't going to solve all of your problems when it comes to stress. However, it is super important to set things in motion that are going to give you a positive impact throughout your day.
